We gather every week to focus -- or refocus -- on the truth of God's word and the grace we have through Jesus. We proclaim God's truth, submitting ourselves to it, seeking to be transformed. We collectively worship, not as disconnected individuals but as a community, through music, teaching, prayer, and sacraments.
When are services?
Adult & Children Sunday School: 10-10:35am
Sunday Gathering Time: 10:45am - 12pm
Tuesday Bible Study | Prayer Time: 6:45-7:15pm & Bible Study: 7:15-8:15pm
Where do you meet?
3444 N. 19th Ave Phoenix, AZ 85015. We're located 1 block North of 19th Ave. & Osborn Rd.
What should I expect?
We are a diverse body and the only way we are able to unite is through Christ around the gospel. So while we do of course have a certain ministry and worship style, we pray that isn’t what unites or divides us, but that our unity is built upon the gospel. Our desire is that all our elements of service including the music, preaching and sacraments point to Jesus and are empowered by the Holy Spirit.
We celebrate communion every first Sunday of the month to remain centered on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus as our source of hope and salvation.
We typically teach through books of the Bible and always remain rooted in the gospel. The music is led by a band and we sing a mix of modern hymns and contemporary worship.
How about kids?
We believe that parents are called to be the primary spiritual leaders of their children and so we strive to support them however we can. Parents are encouraged to bring their children into the worship service at 10:45am after our Adult and Children Sunday School classes. TLC Kids is available for toddlers through the age of 12 years and TLC Youth is available 13-18 years of age.
